Pump a load of secondhand marijuana smoke into the auditorium at the next Sanders rally and wait until the Trump supporters thugs start asking for snacks.

Wouldn't that happen by just being around Bernie supporters?

They need more. I imagine long tubes with one end at Woodstock and the other end at the Sanders rally.

And I’m also a college student, so I’m not tied to anywhere right now...

I was at a Bernie Sanders rally on Friday. I was never told to protest Donald Trump.

I had so many ears there. They would have heard something like that.
Inciting violence among a crowd that is almost unanimously non-violent? Yeah, one of us would have picked up on that.

I got into a bit an argument with Bernie supporters on my facebook (I’m politically agnostic but believe in respect of people and their rights). The Bernie supporters seem to think its their god given right to show at Trump rallies in Bernie t-shirts and get angry when they’re asked to leave. If I walked into a planned parenthood with a pro-life t-shirt, I would be asked to leave too. But that would be disrespectful so I wouldn’t do it.

I hope so. It just doesn’t look good, though. I don’t have much faith in any of the potential candidates on either side honestly. Some may be better than others, but I couldn’t tell you by how much.

Here’s a good one:
I don’t know how to embed tweets in kinja
I saw this somewhere else attributed to Bernie’s actual account, but Bernie himself didn’t really post that. Still funny tho.

Just like Kim and Kanye, every time you talk, tweet, or comment about Trump, positive or negative, you feed the beast. As well as pump up advertising dollars for “news” agencies who’s job it is to write stories that increase profit margins for stock holders.

I knew the Republicans were going to be borked coming into this one. I’m really disappointed in the Dems though. If this is the best they can do it’s no wonder everything is screwed up.
If you really want to feel scared go look up the Independent candidates!

I think it’s the same old problem; it’s nothing bernie is doing, it’s the over-enthusiastic fanboys who are all trying to one-up each other’s devotion by doing increasingly excessive things.
I have no doubt in my mind that Sanders himself wouldn’t use that kind of disruptive strategy, but I have equally little doubt that some of the crazier supporters would do anything they believe will help.

Sorry, but this pre-election season is becoming a sad episode in the history of democracy. One can only hope that the preponderance of sane people will arise by the time the actual elections arrive.

I was at a Trump event here in NW Iowa, now technically this was before I was a Sanders supporter, and a number of us (protesters) stood a good 20 yards away from the line of people, just standing, holding our signs, not saying a word.
But I agree that some people think it is their responsibility to screw with Trump supporters. Personally, I do my very best to stay out of argument, and I have never instigated an argument. However, if I see people posting shit on social media, I will generally politely correct people, but now I shy away from it after THE LEXI INCIDENT.

Outside the event, yes. But it’s a private event. They can be removed.
Of the facebook folks that I was talking about, they were speaking of sneaking it and pushing the limits. That’s stupid.

If you ask me both of them are. Why should America become more “European” (read: socialist tendencies)? Why become more like the country we fought to gain independence from. Britain is certainly one of the less socialist countries in Europe, but why emulate them at all (no offense to people in Britain or anything). On the flipside of that coin you have Donald Trump who might be destroying the idea of America unwittingly. I have no doubt he’s a patriot, but he’s an ignorant and maligned patriot. (This coming to you from GOP supporter)

I think we became independent from Great Britain because of disputes over taxation and autonomy, but I meant the idea of America more as a country of liberty, safety, etc. rather than hate, exclusion, etc. That said I don’t necessarily agree with applying socialism to America, but we do have a lot of issues to face with inequality in our country.

All fair points. I despise Trump as a person and admire Bernie’s character, but I don’t like any (off the top of my head) of their planned policies, save for Trump’s helping the veterans, whatever that may entail.
